Out today: “Simple Wish” by Sean Kimball, featuring Gail Ann Dorsey

Sean has been working on this one for a while, enlisting an incredible crew to help him. The tracks were recorded in many different locations, from Philly to Nigeria, and we were honored to be a part of it.

We booked an afternoon to track vocals, and Sean sang live with Gail Ann Dorsey (who has done some incredible work with David Bowie, Tears For Fears, Lenny Kravitz and so many others).

Besides vocal tracking, we also provided guitar reamping and did the editing for the epic 18-track Nigerian choir.

Out now: “The L.A. Sessions 1989-1990” by Dennis Most.

These 7 tracks were recorded in Hollywood, CA at Hitman Studios and the Control Center. The original 2” tapes were recently transferred and we were able to give them some updated mixes.

Thanks to for the incredible job transferring the tapes, one of which was recorded on the same tape machine that was used for John Lennon’s “Rock ‘N’ Roll” album.

Out today! Killswitch Engage: This Consequence

Produced by Adam Dutkiewicz, the bulk of this album was recorded here at Mainline Recording, which (as many know) is home to the original Zing Recording Studios.

Photo 2 is a shot of Adam’s secret B-Room lair during these KSE sessions (where the magic for so many of the studio’s biggest albums has happened).

Always stoked to have these guys return to where it all started. And as for the last photo… yes, someone set a car on fire next to the studio while Jesse was trying to finish his vocals.
