Eid Al Fitr photo dump 2026 โจ
How was your Eid? We hope itโs been a wonderful occasion so far.
Here in the UK the rain finally stopped, The trees are in blossom ๐ธ for Spring and the sun โ๏ธ was shining down on us!
This means one thing for Eid day - salah outside on the grass ๐ฑ๐คฒ๐ โค๏ธ (a certain Tory politician will have a fit!).
Really proud of all the lines of thousands of Muslims from my local community who turned out for the Eid salah - makes it so much easier when outdoors given the numbers.
Remembered to take a packet of sweets to give out to children at the Eid salah also ๐ฌ๐ซ๐ฌwhich is becoming a sweet tradition here locally in south west London.
After the Eid salah we donated to a food bank to remember those less fortunate than us and had a nice traditional South Asian munch!
Special shout out to the halal tiramisu place that delivers across London ๐ซถ๐๐ซถ and also a Syrian neighbour who gifted us some traditional sweets!
Alhamdulilah for the simple joys on Eid. Keeping those less fortunate and living in instability and wars in our mind also during this time.
(Fyi - This year henna was done by yours truly - with the help of stencils ๐)
