MDANTSANE—Community members from Ward 48 marched peacefully today to demand the immediate resignation of their ANC ward councilor. The demonstrators also called for the official appointment of a community-nominated successor to take over the office. residents marched through the streets to deliver their grievances, citing a total breakdown in service delivery and accountability. Community leaders stated that the demonstration represents a formal withdrawal of confidence in the current leadership.
