Cranbrook surprised me with how much we could fit into one weekend. 👀

We stayed at the Prestige Hotel, enjoyed some very good food, explored around town, and made a stop at the Cranbrook History Centre.

It was one of those weekends with a little bit of everything, without feeling like we had to rush from place to place.

Definitely keeping Cranbrook on my list for another Kootenay getaway.

I wasn’t even looking for this place… and somehow it became one of those stops I didn’t want to leave. 💙

An underrated BC town worth adding to your list?

Steal this weekend itinerary for your next East Kootenay trip:

Day 1:
🥙 The Modern Olive — Mediterranean and Greek-inspired food.
🏨 Prestige Hotel — the game zone was such a fun surprise! Plus outdoor volleyball and a pool for some downtime. Prestige Hotels & Resorts | 19 BC Locations

🐟 Kootenay Trout Hatchery — see and feed the trout while learning more about BC’s freshwater fish.
💦 Norbury Lake — turquoise water, mountain views, and a beautiful spot to swim or paddleboard.
