Three hometown wins to talk about from Friday night.

The Caledonia Bears T1 18U went into St. Marys and walked out 5-1 winners on the back of a sharp start and a top-of-the-order that didn't wait around. Their T2 squad piled on Scarborough at Henning Park. And the Simcoe SR Giants? Tied 3-3 going to the 8th — and then exploded.

Three games, three wins. Hitters, base-runners, and a couple of arms worth talking about.

Three pitchers. Zero hits. One night Fisherville won't forget. 🔥
Thursday at the Lions Centre, the U15 Haldimand Bulls spotted Ayr a 3-run lead in the first… then answered with FIVE. Blake Van Benthem came on in relief and threw five innings of no-hit ball with 11 strikeouts. Ben Simington and Brayden Sheppard slammed the door shut.
Top of the 7th, up by one, Ayr swinging for their lives — Van Benthem freezes Evan Sabourin for the final out. Combined no-hitter. Bulls 6, Jr Vics 5. 🏆
And that was just one floor on a loaded night around the counties — Haldimand Heat took down Guelph, Caledonia traded punches with Pelham, and the Simcoe Timberwolves lacrosse crew outlasted NOTL.
These kids deserve to have their stories told. That's the whole reason we do this. 🙌
