"پی ٹی وی ہمارا مدر “انسٹیٹیوشن” ہے۔"

یہ جملہ آپ نے پاکستان کے لیجنڈری فنکاروں، لکھاریوں، ہدایتکاروں، گلوکاروں اور موسیقاروں سے ضرور سنا ہوگا۔ اور ہم جیسوں کے لیے، جنہوں نے پی ٹی وی کے تاریخی اسٹوڈیوز میں خواب بُنے، یہ محض ایک چینل نہیں تھا - یہ ہماری شناخت تھا۔
پی ٹی وی ریٹنگز کے پیچھے نہیں بھاگتا تھا،بلکہ قوم کا ذوق تراشتا تھا۔ نہ سینکڑوں چینلز تھے، نہ سوشل میڈیا کا شور۔ پھر بھی ہر گھر میں تنہائیاں، دھوپ کنارے، ففٹی ففٹی اور نیلام گھر کی آواز گونجتی تھی۔
اور بھلا معین اختر کو کون بھول سکتا ہے؟ وہ شخص جو ایک ہی وقت میں قوم کو ہنسا بھی سکتا تھا، اور سوچنے پر بھی مجبور کر دیتا تھا۔
یہ گروپ فوٹو اُس پُرسکون دور کے طلوع ہونے سے پہلے کی جھلک ہے، جب ہم سب خواب بن رہے تھے۔آنکھوں میں چمک اور دل میں بھرپور امنگیں۔
راول لیک، اسلام آباد پر ایک شو کی ریکارڈنگ کےدوران، جب اس اسٹیج پر نور، رابی، مدیحہ، مہوش، عثمان اور گل نے “پیار دے رنگ وچ رنگ لے” پر اسٹیج شئیر کیا۔
ہر چہرہ، ایک الگ کہانی۔
پردے کے پیچھے حنا فرمان اور درجنوں دوسرے محنتی چہرے، جن کا تذکرہ کم ہوا، لیکن اُن کی محنت آج بھی یادوں میں چمکتی ہے۔
اگر پیچھے مڑ کے دیکھوں، تو لگتا ہے پی ٹی وی ہمارے لیے فلم اسکول بھی تھا اور تھیٹر کا اسٹیج بھی۔ سب کچھ اینالاگ تھا، لیکن جذبات؟ ہمیشہ ایچ ڈی میں۔
پی ٹی وی صرف ایک چینل نہیں تھا، یہ ایک داستان تھی۔اور کچھ داستانیں کبھی ختم نہیں ہوتیں۔
