Defense Drama: Imported Muscle?
India’s defense might is like a Bollywood action hero—flashy but powered by foreign stunts. Our “indigenous” Tejas jets run on GE engines (thanks, USA!), while China’s J-20s flex homemade tech. Drones? Just Chinese parts with “Assembled in India” stickers. Even Balakot’s “hero” drones had Israeli tech under the hood. R&D budget? 0.64% of GDP—same as chai expenses. China spends 2.4%, building Terminator-style robo-dogs while we debate mandir-masjid.
Moral: Science > politics. Until then, our defense stays a Marvel movie with borrowed CGI.
