This could be so incredible for our country! We honestly cannot overstate how significant this could be for our country.

Reliable, affordable connectivity across all regions would open doors for rural communities, strengthen small businesses, support education and healthcare access, improve safety, enable innovation, and create new opportunities for every sector of the economy.

Most importantly, it would finally give many Namibians – especially those in remote areas – real access to online learning, telemedicine, job opportunities, and essential digital services.

Reflecting on a powerful moment in payments innovation!

Ms Candy Ngula, Head of eMoney at Bank Windhoek, recently spoke on a high-impact panel at the Bank of Namibia’s “Inclusive Payments, Shared Prosperity” event.

As a strategist in inclusive payments and digital financial innovation, Candy joined fellow thought leaders to unpack how real-time payments can drive social benefit, efficiency, and regional prosperity.

The panel, titled “Building on Realtime: Maximising Social Benefit while Preparing for the Next Wave”, brought together voices from banking, regulation, and telecom to explore the future of inclusive finance in Namibia and beyond.

Lady Pohamba Private Hospital contributing to social development 🌟

Last Friday, nine incredible women completed the LPPH Nanny and Au Pair Training, and what an inspiring morning it was!

The training focused on child safety, feeding, daily routines, communication, and included practical sessions on basic CPR and first aid. The room was filled with enthusiasm, shared experiences, and a genuine passion for caring for little ones.

Everyone walked out with certificates, but more importantly with confidence, empowerment, and valuable new skills to make a lasting difference in the lives of the infants and toddlers entrusted to their care.

Here is to uplifting and strengthening childcare together.
