Mandanas, hereby declares that CLASSES in ALL LEVELS, both PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS, in the ENTIRE PROVINCE OF BATANGAS, are STILL SUSPENDED TOMORROW, 25 OCTOBER 2024, FRIDAY, due to the continuous heavy rainfall, strong winds, and serious flooding brought by the effects of Severe Tropical Storm .

This declaration is upon the assessment and recommendation of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.

Classes from 𝙋𝙧𝙚-𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 to 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 in 𝘽𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙨 are suspended on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, due to 𝙏𝙔𝙋𝙃𝙊𝙊𝙉 𝙆𝙍𝙄𝙎𝙏𝙄𝙉𝙀. As per our Batangas City Mayor Beverly Rose A. Dimacuha, and the 𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙀𝙙 𝙊𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙉𝙤. 37, 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 2022, classes are automatically canceled when a Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal is raised. Batangas is currently under 𝙎𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙉𝙤. 1. We advise staying informed through official announcements, local authorities are responsible whether to impose suspensions for universities, colleges, and government offices.

📢 EARLY DISMISSAL NOTICE

Due to the issuance of Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 for Typhoon Kristine, all classes from Kindergarten to Senior High School are suspended for the remainder of the day, Tuesday, October 22.

For the safety and well-being of students, an early dismissal proceeded today. We encourage everyone to stay tuned to further announcements for any updates regarding school activities and resumption of classes. Stay safe and take care!

Batangas City Mayor Beverly Rose A. Dimacuha approved the class suspension to 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗦 from public and private schools on September 16, 2024 due to the heavy rainfall brought by 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺 "𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗲" and the southwest monsoon. All students are advised to stay at home to ensure safety from the mentioned storm.

As a result of the ongoing bad weather brought on by Tropical Storm “ENTENG” and the Southwest Monsoon, all levels of face-to-face classes in public and private schools across the province of Batangas are still being discontinued, with a shift to modular distance learning tomorrow, Tuesday, 3rd day of September. Verified and declared by the Batangas Provincial Government through Governor Hermilando I. Mandanas, as well in cooperation with the Department of Education and the Batangas Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.

The tropical depression "ENTENG" rainfall is expected in Batangas City from 2am - 8am of Monday September 2. Governor Jonvic Remulla has announced that all classes are SUSPENDED. This measure is to ensure the safety of students and school staff. AKADEMISTAS and their families are advised to be prepared for their safety.
