By order of the Peaky Blinders… You need to check out Vernon’s Speakeasy! 🖤🍸

Ok, so I rarely dress up, but I’m glad I found an occasion! 😉

Vernon’s Speakeasy () is an Albuquerque staple for anyone celebrating a special occasion. I had only been once before (crazy, I know), but this time I decided to go so I could spend an evening with amazing people while we ate delicious food.

The crab cakes, stuffed asparagus, salmon, and cheesecake were absolutely amazing! No joke, I’ve been craving their cheesecake ever since. I’d go back solely for the cheesecake and crab cakes. But if I’m being honest, the chicken was my least favorite. I’m very particular when it comes to chicken and this wasn’t my cuppa tea.

But separate from the food, the experience is what makes Vernon’s Speakeasy unique. It’s one of the only places in Albuquerque where you need a password to enter. And the 1920’s gangster who lets you in is a better actor than most people in Hollywood (give this man an Oscar) 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼.

So have you ever been to Vernon’s Speakeasy? If so, what did you think?!

I thought was just macarons… and I was very wrong. 🤭

From gelato and handcrafted chocolates to beignets, coffee, dirty sodas, and of course their famous French macarons, this spot is basically a sweet tooth’s dream.

And if you have dietary restrictions, you’ll be happy to know they offer gluten-free and dairy-free options too, so there really is something for everyone.

If you’ve been looking for an excuse to make the drive to Albuquerque’s Westside, this might be it. ✨

Have you tried Le Macaron yet? 🍨☕🍫🥐💕

FREE wings? Say less. 🍗🔥

I signed up for Club Wingstop and got 5 free boneless wings, so naturally I had to make a run.

Tried the Hot Lemon flavor from the secret menu, grabbed my usual lemon pepper fries (well done, obviously), and a 3-piece Garlic Parmesan chicken tender.

The free wings were great, but those well-done lemon pepper fries will always be the star of the show.

NO MORE COMPLAINING. Everyone talks about the election in November… but the Primary Election is what decides who even makes it onto that ballot in the first place.
And the 2026 election is significant because independent voters in New Mexico can officially vote in the Primary for the first time ever!
✔️ Early voting is already open across Bernalillo County
✔️ Same-day registration is available
✔️ Most voters are in and out in minutes
You can vote early through May 30th or vote on Election Day, June 2nd.
Find your polling place or early voting location at berncoclerk.gov and follow for updates.
It’s Your Call. The Primary. June 2.

I’m sooooo easily influenced! 😜 was highly recommended to me and it definitely didn’t disappoint! I originally placed a preorder for a cinnamon roll, chocolate chip cookie, and corn bread which came out to $16. But then I grabbed me a bag of lemon cookies for $8. Overall, it was worth the trip from base to the Volcano Vista area.

Have you ever had Porch and Pastry?!

Don’t come for me… but I got eggs in my breakfast burrito. 😅 But hear me out… when chorizo is mixed with scrambled eggs, it takes away that “eggy” taste I hate lol. Anyway, I went to last week to try their breakfast burrito! And even though it came in over budget and they didn’t have Dr. Pepper, it was still a solid meal!

They are currently located at so make sure to give a follow so you can stay up-to-date on their hours and menu items.

Stopped by for one of their free classes… and here are my thoughts! ♥️

I hadn’t done any research into JETSET so I figured it was going to be like the classic reformer Pilates (which I’m used to), but it wasn’t lol. It wasn’t a bad thing though! I really enjoyed the high intensity, but low impact workout. I felt so good afterwards!

They invited me to an influencer event this evening which I was sad I couldn’t make it. But I’m so glad I still stopped by for a class! I’m honestly considering signing up. The pricing is reasonable and their class schedule really aligns well to my hectic schedule.

They are offering free classes until next week! So if you’re curious about it, sign up!
