Peachtree Circle remains historic, but without additional local protections.

On September 8, the Atlanta City Council voted 11-4 to file the legislation that would have designated Peachtree Circle as a local historic district. Although Ansley Park is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, that designation alone does not prevent homes from being demolished.
