Last night, the Augusta Design Society hosted its first event! This new nonprofit is bringing local designers together, building community and helping design thrive throughout Augusta and the CSRA.Students and professional designers from many different backgrounds met up, had fun and talked all things design. The event was a success and a blast!

🇺🇸 Today, as America celebrates 250 years of independence, we honor the courage and sacrifice of those who helped preserve the freedoms we enjoy today.

In our July 2025 issue, we shared the remarkable story of Augusta's own Rev. Dr. Jacob "Jack" Berlin, a member of the elite OSS Jedburgh teams who volunteered for dangerous missions behind enemy lines during World War II before dedicating the rest of his life to serving others.

"Many young people were patriotic in the 1940s, but few had the passion, intelligence, courage and skill of Berlin."

Great traditions deserve great company.

Mr. Billy Morris's weekly "Chicken Day" became a celebration of another Morris Communications tradition: recognizing employees whose decades of dedication have made a lasting impact.
Congratulations to our colleagues celebrating 20 years and more of service, including Augusta Magazine's Art Director, Michael Rushbrook.
