🎸Calling all CASA Parents 🎵

You can go ahead and register your child for The Beat Bunch this year in the link in our bio or by scanning the QR code.

We are now offering a Thursday class in addition to our Monday class from 1:30-2:15. You can let us know on your child’s form in the link which class day you would like for them to attend!

We had an absolute blast last school year and can’t wait to see who will be joining us this time around.

I will have a table at Meet The Teacher August 27th and you can sign up there as well. See you soon! 🥁

Here are all of our Mommy & Me group dates for June and July! 🎵🎤🎸

💻Registration is required and already open for the North Shelby Library on their site: northshelbylibrary.org

🏫For the Chelsea Library crew we will be meeting at the Chelsea Community Center June through August instead of the library. Groups are cancelled for June 18th.

❤️Our groups continue to grow and we are grateful to serve the amazing kiddos and families in these communities each week!

What have we been up to lately?

✨Expanding music therapy services with Expect Care Hospice
✨Began a new “mommy & me” music group in addition to our other library sites
✨Our first music therapy practicum student from UAB completed his semester working with our Beat Bunch group
✨Closing in on our first year with The Beat Bunch
✨Completed 25 of 50 legacy projects for patients that include voice recordings paired with their recorded heartbeat and given to their families in one of our Heartstrings stuffies or a framed print in partnership with UAB’s Palliative & Supportive Care Clinic
✨Continuing to create meaningful keepsakes/gifts for families in our community that pull on your heartstrings!

We may not update often because we’re doing all of that👆🏻but we are so grateful for continued growth and the support of our clients, customers and community that keep us going! ❤️
