🚨🤯 NOT A DRILL!!!! Hot tub boats are here!!!

This new floating hot tub from Boston Hot Tub Boats is equal parts wacky and wonderful. Up to six people can take this baby for a two-hour spin on Boston Harbor where you can catch some incredible skyline views of the city and planes landing at Logan. And yes, it’s BYOB. 💜

Would you try a hot tub boat? 👀

We set sail with Boston Hot Tub Boats last week and

💍🐶 The perfect wedding doesn’t exi—

Mayor Michelle Wu 吳弭 recently announced that couples who bring their pet to a Boston City Hall wedding ceremony can request a fun “pet certificate” that welcomes their furbaby into their union.

Mariana and Brian Altman said they couldn’t bring their golden retriever Bono to their wedding in Brazil, so they knew they had to celebrate with him in Boston.

Want in? Couples interested in getting hitched at City Hall and getting a pet certificate can contact the Boston Registry Division at 617-635-4175 or email [email protected].

Congrats, Mariana, Brian, and Bono! 💖🐾

😅 Spoiler: We’d 100% do it again.

Welcome to City Splash, an annual event hosted by the Charles River Conservancy that gives the public the rare chance to swim in the Charles River (and raise awareness to bring river swimming back to Boston). Yes, they tested the water ahead of time, so we were good to go!

They just held their 8th event last weekend and tickets sold out like hot cakes. Swimming in the Charles used to pretty common in the early 1900s, but began to dip halfway through the 20th century as the negative effects of pollution came to light. I mean, we all know the Standells song “Dirty Water,” right?

And while we’ve come a long way since then, it would take a major commitment to get the Charles back to regular swimming shape (sewage overflows after heavy rain are still a big issue given our old infrastructure).

Officials responsible for sewage overflow sites recently released a plan that would keep dumping sewage into the Charles, but far less often. And some advocates think it should be more ambitious.

Public comment on the plan is now open through Sept. 30.

Would you ever swim in the Charles? 👀

🍸⚾️ A ‘tini bit closer to the record.

The Boston Red Sox are one win away from breaking the franchise’s all-time winning streak record tonight after taking home their 14th straight W last night... further proving Boston is having a generational run this summer.

You know what else has been on a winning streak? THE MERCH. 🔥🧢 From Dunkin’ iced coffee hats to hot dog bags to these espresso (and dirty) martini caps...

What’s YOUR dream collab? 👀

Tall ships 🤝 short kings

(We love them both, really.)

Sail Boston, a *massive* maritime celebration, quite literally shipped up all the coolest boats to Boston on Saturday.

Fun fact: Size doesn’t actually matter. In fact, ~50-feet tall is technically considered “short” in tall ship land. Instead, it’s defined by its ~purpose~, i.e., a ship for conducting sail training. Length doesn’t matter either (unless it’s entered into a race), but many at Sail Boston are Class A vessels, a.k.a. more than 131 feet long.
