We partnered with [AD] to answer a question many parents have: How early is too early for an orthodontic check-in? 🦷✨

The answer might surprise you. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a child’s first orthodontic evaluation around age 7, before all their adult teeth have come in.

And no, that doesn’t automatically mean braces at 7. An early evaluation allows the team at Sharon Orthodontics to see how your child’s teeth and jaw are developing. You may leave knowing that treatment could help now, it’s something to monitor for later, or everything looks great. 💛

But how do you know when something may be worth a closer look? Sometimes the clues appear in a school photo 📸, at the dinner table 🍎, or even at bedtime 🌙.
