After a tornado producing supercell storm exhausted most of its energy, we were treated to this amazing display of turbulent clouds also known as mammatus.

This was near Chamberlain, South Dakota on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.

A Moderate Risk (level 4 of 5) of Severe Weather is in place over the heart of Tornado Alley. Today has the potential to be a big day out on the plains for large, destructive hail, as well as some potentially strong, long-tracked Tornadoes. Our Severe Weather Team is in the field and will be live starting at 3PM CT/4PM ET on Facebook Live and Youtube!
