If you're a Park Ridge-Niles School District 64 resident, parent or taxpayer, what's your reaction to the district's proposed $98 million referendum? It would make your property tax bill go up about $400 a year--for the owner of a home with $400,000 property value, and about $600 more per year for the owner of a $600,000 home. This bus will go right through Park Ridge, enabling people to get to and from O'Hare. The south end of Park Ridge already has the Blue Line, but this could be more convenient for people on the north end of town..
