Finally all sfx is done. Now waiting for score! Took about 5 weeks due to the fact I only spent maybe 3hrs a day for like 3 days a week lol now to decide on color grade

So I got this armor last year, a real hand made replication of Tang-Ming Dynasty. Partially wanted to try it with HEMA or sword sparring eventually lol

However it’s 30lbs and for me it’s heavy (with my health) so I started doing steps at home with 10lbs weight to get used of the body weight and also started to loose weight (from 176 to 164 before filming)

While health is still a concern. I wanted to at least have this armor used in a short film so put it together this short film where Martin Carlton directs.

We filmed it in March 2025 and after about 5 hours wearing this. I was done lol happy to say that thanks to my standin and me being able to rest a bit. We got it finished. One day filming.

Now. I’m not an actor. I will not going to be on other people’s films. Just wanted to showcase the armor and some of the outfit that the talent had on. Many are handmade and others are self-put togetht We had fun. I hope.

Here’s the video. Somehow while it unlisted got over 340 views so decided to just make it public. It is currently on festivals route.

So this authentic real replica armor helmet came. It is based on Tang Dynastic armor. About 6lbs. It’s also a big deep for my head. So I found a solution for it. Like it?
