For over five months we have been working on arranging a special concert for Leonard Peltier in his back yard. This month it all finally happened.

We had the honor of spending time with Leonard, joined by musicians John Densmore of The Doors, Keith Secola, and Aaron White.

For three days we visited, laughed, shared stories, and listened to some incredible live music. With multiple microphones and cameras in place, we captured this special moment. Under the shade of the trees, the artists played everything from Neil Young’s Cortez the Killer to their own classics like Light My Fire, NDN Cars, A Simple Man, and some new songs written with Leonard in mind.

Leonard sat back in his lawn chair, laughing, smiling, and praising their talent. Music is something that has been an important part of Leonard's life and something he would go to as an escape during his 49 years in prison.

It was a special week. We are beyond grateful for the work we get to do and the incredible artists and human beings we get to share it with.
