Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Shooting Incident on Fenwick Drive

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after multiple shots were fired at a pedestrian walking along Fenwick Drive in Fort Walton Beach shortly before 5:00 p.m. on December 13.
Deputies responded to the area but were unable to locate the victim. During a canvass of the neighborhood, deputies discovered that multiple homes and properties in the area had been struck by gunfire.
At this time, Investigators believe this incident is related to a shooting that occurred the day prior on Dates Avenue, which resulted in two individuals being injured.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office at 850-651-7400 or provide information anonymously through Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers by calling 863-TIPS, visiting www.EmeraldCoastCrimeStoppers.com or via the P3 Tips Mobile App.
