Just finished the Columbus Moving Picture Show where I sold books, hosted a seminar, and debuted Laura Jerrold’s’ new book MARIAN NIXON: THE NICEST GIRL IN HOLLYWOOD.

Thanks to all who bought books or BluRays and/or attended my seminar.

It was really nice is see so many Split Reel Kickstarter backers live and in person.

My biggest gratitude to those that took time to ask me about Spencer’s road to recovery. It really touched me that so many did so. So many kind people….

Only twelve more days to get in on the MARIAN NIXON Kickstarter. The response has been fantastic but the more the merrier.

The book will debut at this year’s COLUMBUS MOVING PICTURE SHOW. Author Laura Jerrolds will be giving a talk on Marian Nixon and Laura La Plante called THE MOVIE STAR WIVES OF WILLIAM SEITER. She will also be introducing a few films and, or course, will be doing a book signing.

It is a great book and it is worth having, so pledge today!

Wow! The response to the MARIAN NIXON: THE NICEST GIRL IN HOLLYWOOD Kickstarter campaign has been incredible. Fully funded in 24 hours! But don’t let that stop you from making your pledge. It is a great book and you are going want to read this and any other book written by Laura Jerrolds. More pledges will lead to more Split Reel projects and allow Laura to research and write the next one.

Many, many things going on for all of us! Some good, not so good. One of the good ones is this new PRESENTING MR. & MRS. DREW book which currently is the subject of a Kickstarter campaign.
