His legacy lives on in the hearts of so many.

Karen was a pillar for Lovepacs Aubrey!
What an honor to have known her. May we all continue to serve as Karen served!

Today we pause to remember and celebrate the life of our beloved Lovepacs leader, Karen Mattson, who passed away one year ago. Karen carried a deep pride in being known as “the lady that feeds the kids”—a title she wore with joy and honor.

Her heart for children and her unwavering dedication to serving our community continue to inspire us every day. She reminded us that a simple act of love, like filling a box of food, can change lives.

As we reflect on Karen’s legacy, we commit to carrying forward her mission with the same passion, compassion, and determination. Because of leaders like her, thousands of children felt the comfort of a full belly and the warmth of being cared for.

❤️ We celebrate Karen today, we miss her deeply, and we honor her by continuing the work she loved most—feeding the kids.
