AI can now clone a voice in under three minutes, generate broadcast-quality b-roll from a text prompt, and put words in the mouth of someone who never said them.

These tools are cheap, fast, and already showing up in professional media production, which means every creator now faces a question the industry is still figuring out: where does efficiency end and deception begin?

In this free interactive class, we'll put your eyes and ears to the test with a real-vs-fake challenge, walk through the tools reshaping production, and work through real scenarios from documentary, news, and commercial work, from restoring archival footage to cloning a narrator's voice.

You'll see a live demonstration of just how fast this technology moves, learn what standards organizations like PBS and the AP have already put in place, and leave with a practical ethical framework you can use on any project.

Whether you're a working creative, a content producer, or just someone who wants to trust what you see online, this class will change how you look at every piece of media you encounter. No technical background required.

Join us this SATURDAY in the DCM Main Studio for a hands-on workshop where you will be in the control room behind the scenes. We are going LIVE to cable TV channel(s) 56 and 881.

We start with an overview of the essentials of professional livestreaming and then we jump in! You'll practice everything from camera operation and audio management to live switching and streaming.

Last month's First Friday Films was a huge success thanks to our film makers and their guests! This month's line-up is looking solid! We may just pack the house.

These screenings are super special and we're grateful to everyone who has contributed. Prepare to be entertained!

The Late Night Therapy improv comedy troupe will open the show for us at 6 PM! Get ready for hilarious local comics you won't want to miss.

First we're gonna bring in the good energy with Power Yoga by Megan Lowery and Moments of Serenity by DCM.

Next we find ourselves building the vibe with Nuthin' But A Key of "G" Thang by Bob Pearce and Before Sunset by Aaryaman Patel.

We heat things up with a screening of Second Surface by Jesse Livingston, Cyber One by Michael Bliss, and Cloaked by Ricky Scalise, Talisen King and Lindsey Ball.

Finally, we end full circle back to the serene with The Resilient Garden by Austin Anderson and Solar Neighbor by Austin Cole.
