That’s a wrap on this year’s Red Hot Summer Cookout!

David Baron made all 10 dogs disappear in 4:30 to win the hot dog eating contest and take home the championship belt for the second year in a row.

Jackson Manuel won his second consecutive fundraising championship by bringing in $1325.

Thanks to everybody who chowed down, partied, worked, performed, donated, or helped spread the word — together we raised $3594 for !

Can David or Jackson go back-to-back-to-back like Tom Emanski? Come on out and join us again next summer, and we’ll find out together!

Tomorrow’s the big day! Come on down to the Red Hot Summer Cookout at PS37 in Durham ! $15 admission includes live music, hot dogs and veggie dogs from 6-8, and a hot dog eating contest showdown that includes both of our previous champions in the field! See you there!
