I believe both videos of Janet Lynn's competitions in the 1973 World Championship in Bratislava and another available on Youtube of the 1973 U.S. Championship in Minneapolis-St.Paul, MN, use the audio recording made for her by Dexter Witt at Radex Recording in Freeport, IL. Dex did a wonderful job of editing several pieces of music together to flow seamlessly into this lovely piece.

No fully complete footage seems to exist of Janet's LP from Bratislava. So I have made a montage of all the different sources I have to re-create her complet...

The Radex discography on Discogs may be fairly comprehensive for records intended for distribution, but it does not include everything Radex ever recorded. For example, we know he recorded music for ice skating competions, including this one for Janet Lynn.

This page has been created to share information and answer questions about Radex, a recording studio business founded by Dexter Witt in Freeport, Illinois. Dexter passed away in January, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of recorded materials, including masters on reel-to-reel tape and many vinyl records in LP and 45 formats. He also had a large collection of recording equipment used in his business over the decades. If you or a family member or friend ever made a recording and would like to know if it's still in existence, please feel free to contact this page and inquire. There are many copies of local school and church choral recordings, as well as many family or group gospel and folk recordings from the past 60 years. We will post photos of some of these as we progress with building this page.
