After more than a decade at 933 Rose Street, it’s hard to put into words what this space has meant to us.
These walls have seen so much life over the years. Thousands of videos filmed and edited. Podcasts recorded in our studio. Late nights, early mornings, creative breakthroughs, and more laughs than we could ever count.
This office became so much more than a workplace. It was home to GK Live concerts, Super Bowl parties, fantasy football drafts, bourbon tastings, birthday celebrations, shared dinners around the bar, and countless nights just hanging out with friends, clients, musicians, artists, and our community.
We’ll miss the incredible murals painted by Jacintha Kruc. The hand-built bar made from Pizza Boy Brewing pallets. The wall signed by every musician who ever played a show in our space. Every little corner carries a memory and a story.
We may not miss carrying gear, hard drives, furniture, and cases of beer up all those stairs, but we’ll absolutely miss what waited at the top. There was always something special about bringing someone new into the building, climbing that final stairwell, opening the door, and watching them take in the space for the first time. Over the years, 933 Rose Street became a place where people gathered, created, celebrated, collaborated, and connected.
Most of all, we’ll miss being part of Midtown Harrisburg. The support, encouragement, collaboration, and love we felt from that community meant the world to us. We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who walked through those doors and helped shape what GK became at Rose Street.
As difficult as it is to leave this chapter behind, we’re excited for what’s ahead at JPL Creative. We’re looking forward to building something new alongside an incredibly talented creative community while carrying forward everything that made Rose Street special to us.
