The team at GK Visual is proud to announce our new documentary project - America’s Whiskey Legacy: Pennsylvania’s Pioneering Spirit.
Long before Kentucky bourbon became synonymous with American whiskey, Pennsylvania was leading the way, crafting world-class rye and shaping the nation’s distilling traditions. Despite this rich history, many people today remain unaware of Pennsylvania’s pivotal role in whiskey production.
From the birth of our nation, through the Whiskey Rebellion and prohibition, to today’s current crop of distillers, farmers, and malt houses that are making incredible whiskey we plan to tell this story of agriculture, industry, and pioneering spirit.

GK Visual is the team behind the award-winning craft beer documentary, Poured in Pennsylvania.
‘Poured in PA’ is a feature-length documentary about Pennsylvania’s beer industry.
From America’s oldest brewery to taprooms changing the landscape of small towns across the commonwealth, GK Visual’s documentary film, Poured in PA, illustrates the importance of this ancient—but newly redeveloped—beer industry and its impact on Pennsylvania.
This is the production company’s second feature-length documentary on the beer industry. The first, Brewed in the Burg, focuses on the Harrisburg craft beer community. It ultimately inspired them to try to capture the full state’s beer story.
