How Your Home Network Really Works

Ever wondered how all your devices connect to the internet?
This is the magic behind your home router

🔸 Simple breakdown:
🔹 Router = Your network’s brain
🔹 LAN Ports = Connect your local devices (PC, Laptop, Printer)
🔹 WAN Port = Connects to the Internet
🔹 IP Addresses = Unique identity for every device

🔸 What’s happening here?
👉 Router assigns IPs (like 192.168.0.x) automatically
👉 All devices communicate through the router
👉 Router connects your local network to the internet

Real concept:
No router = No internet sharing
Router = Full network communication

TCP/IP Model — The Foundation of the Internet!

Every website you visit, every email you send, every video you stream, and every online game you play relies on the TCP/IP Model working behind the scenes.

📚 The TCP/IP Model consists of 4 layers:

🔹 Application Layer – User-facing services like HTTP, DNS, FTP, SMTP
🔹 Transport Layer – Reliable communication using TCP & UDP
🔹 Internet Layer – Logical addressing and routing with IP
🔹 Network Access Layer – Physical transmission through Ethernet and Wi-Fi

Think of it like sending a package:
Data is packed (encapsulated) layer by layer at the sender, 🌍 travels across the Internet, 📬 and is unpacked (de-encapsulated) at the receiver.

If you want to become a successful Network Engineer, System Administrator, Cybersecurity Professional, or CCNA Expert, mastering the TCP/IP Model is essential.
