Sometimes the life you end up loving looks nothing like the life you originally planned. 🤎

There have been wrong turns, hard seasons, unexpected changes, and plenty of moments when we had no idea where life was taking us.

But looking around now—the campground, our little home, our family, and this community we’re building—I can see how so many of those pieces brought us here.

Maybe finding your Bright Way isn’t about having the perfect plan…

There’s a chapter of our story that I’ve never fully shared here.

You’ve seen the campground life, the RV struggles, the laughs, the chaos and all the little moments in between.

And you’ve heard pieces of my recovery story.

But there’s a part I’ve never been ready to really talk about.

A time when addiction took something from me that I thought I might never get back.

It’s painful. It’s messy. And for a long time, it carried a lot of shame.

But that chapter is also part of the reason this life means so much to me today.

Because before there was The Bright Way, there were some incredibly dark days.

And the woman you see today?

She fought like hell to get here.

I think I’m finally ready to tell you that story — the loss, the fight, and the comeback. ❤️‍🩹

Because after everything…

I’m still standing.

Vacation officially came to an end, and I’m not gonna lie… we’re a little sad to be back. 🥹❤️

We made so many memories, saw some beautiful places, laughed a lot, slowed down, and just enjoyed having that time together. This little recap is only a glimpse of everything we got to experience.

But as hard as it is to say goodbye to vacation, it feels good to be back home and back to work at the campground. 🏕️ Sometimes you need a little time away to come back refreshed and reminded of how much you appreciate the life you’ve built.

Sometimes you just need to get away from everyday life, slow down, laugh a little harder, and enjoy the people you love most. ❤️

This vacation has been about making memories, trying new things, reflecting on how far we’ve come, and simply enjoying our time together.

And of course… having a little fun along the way. 🥤😂
