Photographer Andrew de Lory, a fourth generation Cape Codder, began his photography career early, photographing two of the Cape’s most famous summer residents —Edward and Jo Hopper— in their South Truro home when he was just a teenager.

Since then he has photographed scenes from the Vietnam War; folk greats Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Peter, Paul and Mary at the Newport Folk Festival; Prince Charles on the polo field at Windsor Park and the Cape’s natural beauty, among many other subjects over his lengthy career spanning more than six decades.

Want to hear more about Wellfleet's shellfishing industry? Head to the Wellfleet OysterFest this weekend (Oct. 13-14)!
