A Jackson Hole Landmark with Wild Roots 🦌

Since 1953, the iconic Antler Arches in Jackson Hole’s Town Square have welcomed visitors with a unique tribute to the area’s wildlife and Western spirit. Each arch is made entirely from naturally shed elk antlers, collected from the nearby National Elk Refuge.

Originally built by the Rotary Club to repurpose a growing pile of antlers that posed hazards on the refuge, these structures have become beloved symbols of Jackson’s connection to nature, heritage, and community.

A: Each arch contains roughly 2,000 to 3,000 elk antlers—and they can weigh over 10,000 pounds!
