Description | We live in COLOR! It energizes, inspires, depresses, calms, nurtures and feeds us. A monochrome world would not feel the same, we are changed by hues and pigments and dyes. This is a generative poetry writing course to hone this attention and sensitivity to color. We will work on perfecting and writing 4 poems centered around color to focus on the ways we imagine, think and are taken away by color.

Structure/Timing | We will meet for 1.5-2 hours on Monday evenings on Zoom from 7-9 PM EST for four weeks. The following are class meeting dates (*with one Tuesday date due to Labor Day): August 19, 26, September 3* and September 9.

Cost | $125

Submission | Please send me a short cover letter about your writing background, what themes you typically write about/are currently writing about, why you are interested in this class in particular, what color(s) you are interested in exploring, and please send me 1-3 of your most favorite poems you’ve written (so I can assess your writing style/proclivities).
