Day 6 is Duke Thomas (The Signal) - Duke Thomas is the daytime protector of Gotham City, and his metahuman light sensory powers make him unlike any of Batman’s other crimefighting partners. While Batman and most of his allies operate at night, crime in Gotham City is quite different in the daytime, and so requires a different kind of crimefighter. Enter Duke Thomas—a.k.a. the Signal, the brightly colored agent of the Bat who hits the streets when the sun is out and Batman is asleep in his cave. Duke Thomas grew up in a Gotham City that idolized the Batman, and he met his hero at a young age. When Batman vanished for a time, Duke took up with a youth movement inspired to become Robins in his absence. This “We Are Robin” group was short-lived, but Duke made an impression on Batman once the hero returned to Gotham City. He made Duke his latest partner, but promised him a different destiny than previous Robins. Making good on his promise, Batman gave Duke a new costume and code name, and Duke became known as the Signal. Unlike most of Batman’s Gotham City allies, Duke has discovered he is a metahuman, with light-sensory powers in his eyes. Now he’s uniquely positioned to defend his city in a way that’s utterly unlike any other member of the Batman Family.

Back in 2021 I did an entire month of Black Superheroes in comics that you may not be familiar with. It was based off of a comment someone had made about there not being any black superheroes that mattered. I figured it’s been a while and we could crank out some more this year. Here is a link to the past ones that I did https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10157971016675208&type=3 Black Lightning, Black Panther, Luke Cage and Storm are some of the more well known Superheroes, let’s see if we can show you some you aren’t familiar with.

Day 5 is Wallace West (Flash) - The latest in a long line of speedsters, Wallace West does not take the mantle of Kid Flash lightly, even when it makes him question everything about himself. Between all the time travel, universe-hopping and resurrections, the Flash Family is anything but simple. Just ask Wallace West, the latest addition to the weird and wonderful fray. Sharing a name with the original Kid Flash, Wally West, might actually be the least complicated thing about his life. Struck by Speed Force lightning thanks to some truly mind-bending issues with the timeline, Wallace was given his powers and put on the radar of Barry Allen, who took him under his wing—or, at least, he tried to. If there’s one thing Wallace learned very quickly, it’s that being a speedster isn’t something you can just be taught overnight, even by the Fastest Man Alive.

During the New 52 Benjamin Turner origin was modernized to where he was the vigilante known as Bronze Tiger. Turner largely focuses on stopping crime bosses and drug lords in Gotham City. He has occasionally worked alongside Batman. As the Bronze Tiger, Turner was a member of the Su***de Squad, a team of costumed criminals pressed into the service of its director Amanda Waller. With the Squad, he participated in a mission to recover an item from Brainiac, and eventually took over as its leader. During his tenure, the Squad was betrayed by Lashina, an infiltrator, costing the life of team member Florence Crawley. During his time with the Su***de Squad, Turner entered into a romantic relationship with his teammate Mari McCabe, Vixen. Day 3 is Jason Rusch (Firestorm) - Jason Rusch is a 17-year-old living in Detroit who lives with his abusive father Alvin Rusch after his mother leaves the family. He becomes a courier to gain money and bonds with the Firestorm matrix, which seeks a new host following Ronnie Raymond’s death. Unlike Ronnie, Jason initially does not have a set matrix partner, instead bonding with various civilians. In 52, Firestorm is fused with Cyborg due to malfunctioning Zeta Beam technology. After being freed, he forms a new Justice League with Firehawk, Ambush Bug, Super-Chief, and Bulleteer. After failing to handle a crisis staged by Booster Gold’s robot Skeets, the new League disbands.

In One Year Later, Jason and Gehenna search for Martin Stein after his former pupil Adrian Burroughs kidnaps him. Later, Jason and Stein meet Shilo Norman, who informs them that the Firestorm matrix contains part of the Life Equation. After Darkseid kidnaps Stein, Jason and Gehenna work to find him. In Infinite Crisis, Jason’s friend Mick Wong is killed. Following this, he meets with Stein in space and agrees to have him be the Firestorm matrix’s permanent secondary host.

Day 2 is Jackson Hyde - Jackson Hyde may have been taught by Aquaman himself, but the looming threat of his father, Black Manta, is never far from his mind.

A natural born leader and level-headed team player, Kaldur’ahm is an Atlantean/human hybrid who possesses the power to control and form water into solid constructs. Much like his mentor Aquaman, Kaldur was raised not knowing who his real parents were—something that, it turns out, may have been for the better, considering his biological father is Black Manta, Arthur’s sworn enemy.

Pulled between not only the worlds of land and sea, but between those of good and evil itself, Kaldur, or Jackson Hyde as he’s known by his adoptive human parents, has striven to make sure his legacy does not define him. And, though that sometimes pushes him to the very brink of what he believes himself to be capable of, he has proven to be a true superhero time and time again. One who’s more than worthy of carrying the legacy—if not the crown—of Altantis’ mighty king.

Day 1 is Mister Terrific - Solving the world’s problems isn’t something you can tackle on a large scale. Some may even consider it impossible. But while you might not be able to solve the world’s problems, you can solve the problems of the people—even if it’s just one at a time. At least, that’s how Michael Holt sees it, and using his genius-level intellect, dedication and perfectionism, he plans on doing exactly that as the heroic Mr. Terrific.
