the temperature dropped below 80 and now it’s time to put out some fall decor people! I’m not a huge fall decor person, so I’m very selective on what I put out during this time of year. these faux stems will transition all the way thru winter for me, so that’s 5+ months of use. they are seriously massive and so realistic. I only had to use 3 stems total to create this big look in my foyer. so if you’re looking to make a statement in your home, these are a must 🌿

we had the absolute best weekend taking our Auburn baby back to his hometown and his very first game in Jordan-Hare stadium 🏈🧡🦅💙

Auburn will always be our special place, our little slice of heaven, but this weekend it just meant even more. There is no way to truly describe what it’s like coming back to a place we called home for over a decade, it was like we never left. Getting to run into our Auburn and Florida friends & family at different tailgates, showing JB all the traditions and places he’s been before, but never really remembered because he was so young. It was everything we could’ve dreamed of and more. Not even an afternoon monsoon or losing the game could’ve put a damper on the weekend. And that is how you know Auburn is something truly special. I hope and pray JB remembers everything single minute of it, because I know I will.

frozen rose recipe 🍓

1 bottle rose, I prefer Whispering Angel or Miraval
1-2 cups frozen strawberries
couple big swirls of honey

put all ingredients in blender
blend together and taste
add more strawberries as needed
add more honey as needed

*for reference, I prefer mine less sweet and not too thick

And just like that, my whole world, entered a whole new world. 🍎

A chapter I never wanted to end, ended. You woke up before our alarm even went off. Double knotted your shoes. Triple checked I picked out the snack you wanted. Then you walked straight into the classroom smiling ear to ear, with all the confidence in the world, and only looked back when I called your name for a hug and kiss.

As you start kindergarten my prayer for you is simple — that God keep His hand of protection over you and keep you safe, and that you continue to love and learn about Jesus, and show that love to everyone around you.

May you be a light for others, just as you are in our own home. ⭐️

While a piece of my heart is breaking knowing a new chapter is beginning, I know you are going to thrive in it my sweet boy.

happiest Father’s Day to the one who makes life infinitely more funn🩶♾️

you have have walked thru the fire of life, and never it let diminish your true joy. you show our boys daily what it is to live with a grateful heart, how to put others before yourself, and most importantly how to not take life too seriously. the boys and I love you big, and are so thankful to call you ours.
