🐾 Meet Maverick & Abigail! 🐾

Maverick, a 4.5-year-old Chocolate Labrador, has always been known as the sweetest dog around — loved by everyone who meets him. 🥰 This past Christmas, Maverick’s family surprised him with the best gift ever: a new best friend! His 2-year-old Yellow Lab cousin, Abigail (Abby), joined the family, and the two bonded instantly. 🎄💛

Maverick was named by his human brother, Beckett—only to find out years later that his dad shares the same name! Abby came with her name from the breeder, a sweet reminder of a beloved Yellow Lab named Gabby from years past. 🐶

Maverick’s special talents include catching with his paws and even "praying" on command. 🙏 Abby is still settling in, but with her playful personality, her talents are sure to shine soon. As for their favorite treat? Cheese, of course! 🧀😂

These two love going on long walks through the neighborhood, spotting deer and rabbits, and visiting friends at Watertight Roofing. Their dream adventure? Boating and exploring the sandbars at Weedon Island — the perfect day for these adventurous Labs! ❤️

🌟 Meet the Staggs Family! 🌟

We’re excited to introduce our May feature, the Staggs Family — Kyle, Molly, and their sweet daughter, Maggie! After a six-year journey to grow their family, Maggie was joyfully welcomed in February 2024 after a successful IVF transfer. 💕

The Staggs moved to Cheval in 2020 and have loved building a life here, surrounded by beautiful nature, great neighbors, and plenty of family fun. Molly recently completed her Ph.D. in Science Education 🎓 (Go Gators!), while Kyle helps homeowners navigate insurance claims through his work as an attorney and his blog, Florida Property Damage.

Maggie, already full of personality at just one year old, keeps everyone on their toes with her love of animals, books, and snacks! 🐾📚 They share their home with their beloved pets—dogs Carrie and Jax, and their cat, Sophie.

From family golf cart rides 🚐✨ to park adventures and local brewery visits, the Staggs love soaking in everything Cheval and Tampa Bay have to offer. We’re so lucky to have them in our community!
