Thank you to all who stopped by our table at the Madison Hmong New Year at the Alliant Energy Center last weekend! It was such a fun time connecting with new and old friends.

Big thanks to Youa and Desia for setting up the table. Big thanks to our Producer, Chali, for getting a poster made and providing stickers and a recorder. Thank you to Ze for bringing a bunch of freebies to give away. And a big thank you to Youa's little girls for taking on the task as interviewer!

Nyob zoo! We are Hmong Madison Radio! A 100% volunteer run radio show at WORT FM WORT 89.9 FM. New shows every first Sunday of each month at 6-8AM central time.

The Madison Hmong Radio was established in 1990 buy two local Hmong community members, hosted by Kao Xiong for 30+ years, taking a 2 year break in 2022, and running again as of July 2024!
As of September 2024, we are a woman lead radio show, bringing listeners local news, events and Hmong community updates.

As a community radio, we aim to provide education and accessibility to community resources, educate the larger Madison community about Hmong culture, and explore topics about the Hmong American Experience.
