Major League Baseball proposed sweeping changes to the domestic draft and international player signing process today, as part of the collective bargaining agreement negotiations with the Players Association. These proposals include high school players no longer being eligible for the domestic draft, bonuses tied to draft position with no room for negotiation, and the introduction of an international players draft.
