Remi’s post spay surgery recovery isn’t going as smooth as I had hoped. She lost her appetite and also has an upset stomach. I tried to feed her steamed beef, boiled pork, sautéed turkey, and even rotisserie chicken, but she only took a bite or two and refused to eat 😥. We finally got her to eat some hard boiled eggs and baked cod. Now, Milo gets to enjoy all the special meals Remi won’t touch. (Perks of having two dogs is that we never waste food, remember how we called Jake our dish washer?)

Yesterday, I made a big pot of knuckle bone broth (도가니 곰탕) to see if the hearty broth would help. I was nervous that she would turn nose up and was so relieved that she slurped it up.

Other notes:
She’s always been a cuddly girl, but she has been super clingy as well. She will lay on or right next to me throughout the night, hovering over me for hugs and kisses. I actually love this part and never want her to stop.

Other odd behavior? She’s been unusually interested in all the stuffed toys and bringing them one by one to different spots around the house. She’s never done this before. She sleeps with her little wingless duck toy that I can’t even remember where it came from. Is this due to the hormone changes she’s experiencing?
