Born September 9, 1924, in Salt Lake City, Utah, President Russell Marion Nelson is the 17th President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Before his call as a prophet, he was a world-renowned heart surgeon who helped pioneer open-heart surgery.

A man of deep faith, wisdom, and compassion, President Nelson has dedicated his life to serving God and uplifting others. Since becoming prophet in 2018, he has emphasized personal revelation, temple worship, gathering Israel, and the power of joy through Jesus Christ.

At over 100 years old, he continues to inspire millions with his message of hope, faith, and love. 💛
