Important Trail Closure: Due to a large tree hanging over the owl canyon staircase, we were forced to close the route from the Parkman's Plain parking lot leading toward La Salle canyon and the rest of the red trail. Since removing the tree is a complex task for our workers, we are unsure how long this trail will be closed, but you can still head to our beautiful La Salle canyon from the Visitor Center using the trail suggestion below.
