The Philadelphia Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating two missing juveniles, 11-year-old Anais Jones and her 7-year-old brother, Alikai Jones. The siblings were last seen at approximately 10:50 a.m. today, leaving their residence on the 1600 block of South Conestoga Street.
At the time of their disappearance, Alikai was wearing a red Adidas hoodie and black pants or shorts, while Anais was dressed in a red graphic T-shirt and jean shorts. The children may be attempting to travel to their father’s workplace at Enterprise, located at 602 Easton Road. The children are familiar with SEPTA and may be using public transportation to reach that destination. They are also known to frequent Clark Park and Kingsessing Recreation Center.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Anais and Alikai Jones is urged to contact the Southwest Detective Division at 215-686-3183 or call 911 immediately.

MULTI-STATE CHILD PREDATOR ARRESTED

Bensalem, PA — Steven Patras, 65, of Hainesport, NJ, was arrested and charged in connection with an online child exploitation investigation conducted by Bensalem Township Police.

On April 30, 2025, Patras began communicating with someone he believed to be a 13-year-old girl. Over two months, he sent explicit messages and photos, described sexual acts he intended to perform, and requested n**e images. He also stated he was purchasing lingerie for the child and planned to meet her in Bensalem on June 12, though that meeting was canceled. No real child was ever in danger.

Before traveling, Patras was arrested in New Jersey on June 30, 2025, for similar offenses. Investigators discovered the Bensalem messages on his seized phone. Bensalem Police obtained a warrant and lodged a detainer.

On July 22, 2025, Patras was extradited to Pennsylvania. He was charged with Attempted Sexual Abuse of Children, Unlawful Contact with a Minor, and related offenses. Bail was set at 10% of $2,000,000

VERDICT ANNOUNCEMENT

Charles Fulforth and Kelvin Roberts Jr. have been found guilty of First-Degree Murder, Attempted Murder, Robbery, Burglary, and related charges stemming from the December 8, 2024, home invasion in Lower Merion Township that resulted in the death of 25-year-old Andrew Gaudio and left his mother, Bernadette Gaudio, seriously injured.

Under Pennsylvania law, a conviction for First-Degree Murder carries a mandatory sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Shooting Investigation – 2300 Lambert Street

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group is actively investigating a quadruple shooting that occurred in the 22nd District on Thursday, July 24, 2025. At approximately 9:38 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 2300 block of Lambert Street.

Upon arrival, officers located four victims suffering from gunshot wounds: one adult female, one adult male, one juvenile male, and one juvenile female. All four victims were transported by police to Temple University Hospital and are currently listed in critical condition.

At this time, no motive has been determined. The investigation remains active and ongoing.

Shooting Investigation – 4700 N. 5th Street

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group is investigating a double shooting that occurred in the 25th District on Thursday, July 24, 2025. At approximately 8:06 p.m., officers responded to a shooting on the highway near the 4700 block of North 5th Street.

Upon arrival, officers located two victims. A male victim was transported by police to Albert Einstein Medical Center and is currently listed in critical condition. A female victim was also transported to the same hospital and is listed in stable condition.

At this time, there are no arrests and no known motive. The investigation remains ongoing

Homicide Investigation – 2200 Felton Street

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the 12th District on Thursday, July 24, 2025. At approximately 2:51 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting on the highway in the area of the 2200 block of Felton Street.

Upon arrival, responding officers located a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center by a Medic Unit, where he was pronounced dead at 3:43 p.m.

At this time, no arrests have been made and no motive has been established. The investigation is ongoing.

Philadelphia Police Arrest Suspect in Multiple Street Assaults

PHILADELPHIA –  Philadelphia Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the assault of six individuals on a city street, incidents that were captured on video.

On July 19. 2025, police became aware of the video, which had been posted on social media, showing an individual yelling at and then assaulting six apparently unhoused people. The assaults took place on July 4. Through further investigation, including the recovery of additional video from the area, detectives were able to identify the suspect as Naeem Morgan, a 27-year-old Black male from Philadelphia.

An arrest warrant was issued for Morgan, and he was taken into custody today, July 21, 2025. He has been charged with Possessing Instruments of Crime (PIC), Simple Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person (REAP), Disorderly Conduct, and Harassment.

The Philadelphia Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating missing juvenile Nasiyah Stewart. Nasiyah was last seen July 23, 2025, at 7:00 AM, on the 6xx bock of Franklin Place.

Nasiyah is 15 years old.

On Monday, December 2, 2024, at approximately 7:33 p.m., officers from the 3rd District responded to a report of a person screaming on the 2600 block of South 10th Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim, 78-year-old Santo Procopio, suffering from severe injuries to his head and face. He was immediately transported to Jefferson University Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
An individual at the scene provided officers with the name and description of the suspect. Officers canvassed the area and located a male matching the provided description. The suspect, identified as 38-year-old Michael Piselli, was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Special Detention Division for processing.
Further investigation revealed that the suspect had been acting irrationally in the rear yard while in the presence of the individual who had alerted police. Piselli then locked this person out of the residence, entered the home, and repeatedly assaulted the victim. The individual was able to witness the attack through a window and observed Piselli striking the victim while he lay on the kitchen floor. Piselli subsequently fled the scene on foot.
The victim sustained multiple injuries, including lacerations to the head and chin, facial fractures, and bleeding on the brain. On Saturday, December 14, 2024, Santo Procopio was pronounced dead at 5:57 p.m. The Homicide Unit has been notified and assigned the investigation. Charges against Michael Piselli will be upgraded to Murder and related offenses.
