BENSALEM POLICE ARREST SERIAL BURGLARY SUSPECT

Bensalem Police arrested Richard Sturts, 56, in connection with a series of commercial burglaries across multiple counties.

Police say Sturts used a Chevy Silverado to ram the front doors of businesses, including Bob Nolan’s Auto Service on Bristol Pike during the early morning hours of December 2, 2025, before stealing a cash register.

Similar burglaries were reported in Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, and Chester Counties. On December 18, officers located Sturts in Bensalem after an automated license plate reader alert. He was taken into custody on outstanding warrants and later admitted to driving the vehicle used in the burglaries.

Sturts was charged with Burglary, Criminal Trespass, and related offenses. Bail was set at 10% of $150,000, and additional charges are expected.

All charges are allegations. The defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

We were the only media outlet to cover this cold case and our followers helped ID a previously unidentified victim.

We first posted about this case in September 2024, when Jane Doe (at the time) had been unidentified for over 2 months. Her body was found under a wooden pallet in an abandoned lot on the 4900 block of Griscom Street. Her body was badly decomposed and her pants had been removed to her ankles. Investigators had no leads so they posted photos of her jewelry on NamUs.

Our post got millions of views and tips were submitted. A source told us last year that she had been identified as Anastasiya Stangret and that Homicide Detectives were actively working the case. After that, the case went cold again and officials never officially publicly released any information on her identity.

Now, today, December 19th, the Philadelphia Police Department have officially released her name and are asking for the public's help in finding her killer. The police have provided video of Anastasiya walking in the area of Arrott & Penn in the several days leading up to her death. She is seen with several individuals, police did not comment on whether or not those have been interviewed but it seems like they intentionally blurred out their faces. Not too sure what this means.

The following is the press release from PPD:

The Philadelphia Police Department needs your help:

On Sunday June 23, 2024, at approximately 10:09 pm, police responded to the 4700 block of Griscom Street where the remains of a 22-year-old Caucasian female victim, Anastasiya Stangret, (above) were discovered. The victim had a single gunshot wound to the head, and was in an advanced state of decomposition.

The victim was last seen on video several days prior, in the area of Penn and Arrott Streets in the Frankford section of Philadelphia. Police are seeking the help of the public to identify any potential suspects, or information related to the circumstances of her death.

THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA IS OFFERING A REWARD OF $20,000 LEADING TO AN ARREST AND CONVICTION FOR EVERY HOMICIDE.

BUCKS COUNTY | FI****MS TRAFFICKING SENTENCE

A Philadelphia man has been sentenced to 12 to 24 years in state prison for his role in an illegal firearm straw-purchase scheme in Bucks County.

According to the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, Raheem Evans, 33, was convicted on 22 counts following a jury trial. Prosecutors say Evans recruited a woman to legally purchase fi****ms on his behalf because he was prohibited from owning guns due to a prior felony conviction.

Investigators determined that between August and October 2020, 13 fi****ms were purchased, with 10 allegedly bought for Evans. Authorities say several of those guns were later recovered during separate criminal investigations, including violent crimes.

The case was investigated by the Pennsylvania State Police and the ATF Fi****ms Trafficking Task Force.

Straw purchasing is a felony offense and a major source of illegal guns used in crimes.

Presidnet Donald TRUMP just called fentanyl a weapon of mass destruction!

And that could have serious consequences for places like Kensington.

Trump announced a new federal approach labeling illicit fentanyl as a national security threat. Not just a drug problem.

Fentanyl kills tens of thousands every year. It’s cheap, extremely potent, and easy to move.

So what does that mean for Kensington?

Here’s where it could change things. More federal involvement. DEA surge operations. Harsher penalties. Targeting suppliers, not just street dealers.

But here’s the reality. If the supply isn’t stopped upstream, Kensington doesn’t disappear. It adapts.

Will this actually change anything on Kensington Avenue?
