Today on, Let’s Connect Greater Portland host Tom Bell heads out on Casco Bay, at least in spirit, to explore the Heron, the largest electric aquaculture workable in Maine and maybe the nation. Tom is joined by Nick Planson of Shred Electric, W***y Leathers of Maine Ocean Farms and Lia Morris of the Island Institute to talk about how the Heron performs on the water and why electrification matters for coastal communities, climate goals, and the future of sustainable aquaculture.

Thank you so much to all the bands and their fabulous hat wear for a great night at the Bluegrass Spectacular

It was a truly fine collection of hats the other night at One Longfellow Square. We guess it raised $3k for WMPG FM, which is pretty great. We're awfully appreciative of everyone's kindly spirits. It was a heck of a good time.

New DJs are getting qualified for air all the time here. We have alums, work study students, and community members joining our ranks this week. Three of these folks have already hosted their first program and Colleen (slide three) will be flying solo this Friday from 10-11:30pm filling in for
