Thank you, Bill.

It was announced today that Bill Lupoletti, host of Global a Go Go and one of WRIR 97.3FM Richmond Community Radio’s founders, has sadly passed away from cancer.

We're incredibly thankful for all the work Bill has done with WRIR and his many contributions to making Richmond a better place for music and art.

Bill contacted us a few months back to hip us to Meredith Monk and the idea of bringing the film Monk In Pieces to Richmond. Not only did he educate us on the music and the film, but he also helped to connect us with the distributor and introduced us to a few folks in that musical community who wanted to see the film locally. More recently, we had been communicating with Bill about the event program and how we could incorporate his wonderful radio show, Global a Go Go, during the pre-show to bring it full circle. Needless to say, without Bill connecting the dots and putting in the effort to make things happen, we wouldn't have known about this film or considered bringing it to Richmond.

We will be dedicating CinemaNiche presents Monk in Pieces to Bill. 💔
