Safety at Blackridge Reservoir is a priority after multiple drowning incidents. Herriman City will add seasonal signage and drop-off buoys to alert visitors, while keeping activities like paddleboarding accessible. Councilmembers stress personal responsibility as key to staying safe.

Herriman City has approved a 25‑year property use agreement with the Utah Soccer Federation to bring two multi‑use athletic fields and amenities to southeast Herriman near Mountain Ridge Park.
