Mini Biography
Filmmaker Rob Diamond was born December 18th, 1965 in Phoenix, Arizona. He's been writing, directing and producing independent feature films since 1998. Many of his movies have been distributed successfully worldwide and are available on DVD, online streaming and have been shown on Cable TV. Raised in Southern California, he lived in Riverside until the 8th grade and then moved to t

he beach in Dana Point, California where he fell in love with surfing and the ocean. He started acting and modeling in Los Angeles after he was discovered on the beach when he was 17 and hand picked to do a commercial for Coca Cola. He went on to get cast in national commercials for Levis 501 Blues and Minute Maid among others before landing his first part in a film with Mickey Rooney. He's known for his passion and commitment to independent filmmaking and love of teaching. He has taught film acting since 1998 and owns and operates "Rob Diamond's Actors Lounge" in Salt Lake City, Utah where he resides. His students have landed speaking parts in literally hundreds of films and television shows. He won the best director award for his feature film Saint Street at the 2013 Filmed in Utah Awards.

🎬Movie Auditions follow up🎬. Thank you for all the amazing submissions for my new film. I have received hundreds of auditions from all over and will be watching every single one of them. I will be making final decisions in the next few weeks with the other producers. I’ve been getting lots of questions about the film project that I will address on this thread. This is a dramatic feature film that will be released worldwide on numerous streaming platforms next year. I’m not releasing the title just yet until it’s completely cast and I put it up in IMDb. It’s Non Union, paid, and is filming entirely in Utah for 18 days in October. If you are cast and live outside of Utah, the production will be providing travel, accommodations and per diem. Casting is always a difficult process. I have so many talented actors who have submitted. I can’t reach out and personally thank each one of you, but thank you. I love actors and admire your courage and commitment to this craft. I’ve been making movies for years and wish I had the capacity to cast you all. Keep at it! I’m rooting for you all. 🎬🙏

PAID MOVIE PRODUCTION. I’m gearing up to direct and produce another feature film in October. My 3rd film this year. Just starting to crew up and cast.
