145,000 Mile Odometer Verification Day 145 September 22, 2025 at about 950 miles into our ride to Forrest Gump Point Final Destination, Pappy rolled over his 145,000th mile. Old Man pulled over and we all hopped off our bikes to rush to see the number. While I figured we would all be whooping and hollering at that moment, as you can see on the video, we were mostly stunned and emotional. This moment was too big for all of us to actually feel the magnitude of it really. We could all feel the emotion and relief pouring off of Old Man. He was speechless for a few seconds. His face was stone sober as if in shock. He had done what most people told him was impossible. Even he was unsure he could do it. . . . . Until That Moment! Congratulations again Pat. You've inspired many, you've defined true grit and you've made Myotonic Dystrophy known. Go rest!

At the end of my 1000 mile ride celebrating Vroom Old Man - Indian 125+ for Myotonic record stomping 145,000 miles in 145 days, we got to be a part of this great finale video. This is a group of Hoka Hey riders from around the US. 15 of us had ridden a total of over 21,000 miles in 48 hours from when the GAUNTLET DROP was announced. Gauntlets can be dropped by Hoka Hey riders at a location thats at least 500 miles from their home. Riders have 48 hours to get on their bikes and roll. Old Man set one on Saturday for Forrest Gump Point at Monument Valley UT. This is the result of our coming together. What a fun strange trip its been. Im off to bed so I can wake up in the weee hours and head back home again.1000 miles to Utah today. 1000 miles to get home tomorrow. Its a double header! Cannot wait to get home and share all the photos and stories!
