Thanks to the care of past stewards, it remains a beautiful place to visit, and at a recent four-day workshop in Asheville, Tryon Cemetery Commission Chair Nancy Gray and fellow members learned the basics of cemetery preservation and restoration, including proper gravestone cleaning.
