FRANKLIN, Pa. – Warren Area High School robotics team 52575C, also known as “I Can’t Pronounce That,” has kicked off the 2025-2026 season by showing northwestern Pennsylvania why they have qualified for the VEX Robotics World Championships the last two years in a row.
At the recent “Clash at the Castle” tournament in Franklin, team 52575C brought home the medal for the Design Award, Robot Skills Champion, and Tournament Champion. The latter two of these qualify them a trip to the state tournament in March, a likely crucial step in making it to the World Championships for the third straight year. Shortly after the sound victories, the team also received notice of an invitation to a prestigious national tournament in Iowa, also in March.
The team will be starting a fundraising campaign soon to help with travel expenses.
Team members include Donald Anderson, Rebecca Anderson, Abbi Cornman, Liam Ferry, Mason Moore, Philip Nickerson, and Lincoln Olsen. They are led by WAHS teacher Arthur Anderson.
