Around 1:30 a.m., hours after the tragic shooting at Brown University on Saturday, Warwick resident Griffin Taylor –– a junior at Brown –– and his friend fit twelve students previously sheltering in the recreational facility into the two large SUVs they were driving and made the trip to Warwick.

These two pups need our help! Their Mom is not well and has had to make the difficult decision to find them a new home. They are bonded and play well together so they are looking for a home where they can stay together! Ginger is a year and a half old, very smart, loving, playful and beautiful! Rigby is six and is just as sweet as can be and of course adorable! Rhode Home Rescue will be helping to place them and is looking for a Foster or a Forever home! They are currently in a boarding facility so time is of the essence! Last weekend, the streets of Apponaug were filled with spectators of the parade at the third annual Rolling Strolling Apponaug Winter Festival. The event also served as the public opening of the ice rink at the new City Hall Plaza.
