Good evening,

Our Public Works Director and I met today with Mr. Troy Pittman, District Engineer with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).

We reviewed several transportation concerns and priority projects across our community, followed by an on-site tour of some of our more challenging areas. Bottom line up front: some projects will require longer timelines due to state processes, but others are on track to begin as early as next year.

We appreciate your continued patience, support, and positive feedback as we work together toward a safer, more efficient, and better-connected Waycross.
