Man arrested after southwest Wichita armed robbery
Officers responded at 5:20 a.m. to a robbery at the Circle K in the 1200 block of S. Tyler. A man entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded cash. The employee complied and the suspect fled.

Two men injured in separate explosions in Wichita
In both incidents, the WPD Ordnance Disposal Unit responded and Police also deployed an explosive detection canine to conduct safety sweeps in the areas where the items were found.
