Eighteen-year-old man dead, suspect arrested in Pittsburg shooting

Emergency crews found an 18-year-old man, Adam Basauri from Girard, dead with an apparent gunshot wound. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office found the 17-year-old suspect and their vehicle in nearby Arma.

Body found in Lake Afton, near Wichita

A little after 2 p.m. Saturday, a deputy patrolling Lake Afton Park was contacted by a person who reported an unidentified object floating in the water near the dam on the south side of the lake.
